Erich Lukas, U.S. House of Representatives Candidate on Abortion
August 7, 2004 - Saturday ### Erich Lukas, U.S. House of Representatives Candidate on Self-Defense FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: August 19, 2004 CONTACT: PERKASIE, PENNSYLVANIA - Erich Lukas, United States House of Representatives Candidate for the Eighth District, released the following statement in response to the Department of Homeland Security's latest terrorism alert: "The police, by law, which has been upheld in many court cases, are not responsible for the protection of individual citizens; they are ordered to uphold the law, which means that they can only act AFTER the crime or terrorism has been committed, making you the only person responsible for the safety of yourself, your loved ones, and your home. If I am elected to the United States House of Representatives for the Eighth Congressional District, I give you my word, on my honor, that I will co-sponsor H.R. 648, the Citizens’ Self Defense Act, which guarantees you the right to defend yourself, your loved ones, and your home, by obtaining the firearm of your choice. God Himself said, 'Let him who has no sword sell his robe and buy one,' mandating the necessity of self-defense. I beseech you to visit my website at www.ErichLukas.com to learn how we, together, can make our nation, once again, a place of peace and prosperity under the blessing of God." ### U.S. House of Representatives Candidate Erich Lukas Pledges Biblical Marriage Law Solution FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: August 26, 2004 CONTACT: PERKASIE, PENNSYLVANIA - Erich Lukas, United States House of Representatives Constitution Party Candidate for the Eighth District, released the following statement in response to the GOP's full platform committee who stated that Republicans "respect and accept" views of GOP party members who support gay or abortion rights: "If I am elected to the United States House of Representatives for the Eighth Congressional District, I give you my word, on my honor, that I will introduce legislation, citing Article 3, Section 2 of the United States Constitution, to not only remove the jurisdiction of the federal courts in matters of matrimony, but also to remove the jurisdiction of the federal courts to rule on any state's failure to accord full faith and credit to same-sex unions. Marriage and family law must be returned to the states, to the people, to the many - not to the few in black robes on the federal level, so that, as before, our God-loving citizens can legislate the Biblical law of marriage, which is the foundation of Western moral civilization. I beseech you to visit my website at www.ErichLukas.com to listen to my Biblical marriage law solution and to learn how we, together, can make our nation, once again, a place of peace and prosperity under the blessing of God." ###
U.S. House of Representatives Candidate Erich Lukas Pledges Biblical Marriage Law Solution FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: August 30, 2004 CONTACT: PERKASIE, PENNSYLVANIA - Upon receiving feedback that he should terminate his Bible scripture references from his campaign communications, Erich Lukas, U.S. House of Representatives Candidate for District 8, released the following statement: "When I signed on for the United States House of Representatives District 8 Congressional Race, I did so with the full intention on running following the truths of Operation Rescue Founder Randall Terry's 'Taking Back the Gates' seminar, where he shows how the Bible instructs us not to remove references to God's Living Holy Scripture in order to 'stay under the radar' just to 'get a seat at the table' in government, but to boldly proclaim my faith in Jesus Christ, the one true God, and in His inerrant Holy Scripture in order to receive His blessing, not only to ensure that my campaign and its result is a true reflection of His Divine Will, but, if elected, to then enable the citizens who elect me to receive His Holy blessing of protection and prosperity according to His Will. I quote Holy Scripture, not to 'force my faith on our citizens,' but to show you the foundation of my unquenchable desire to serve you by upholding and defending the United States Constitution and our God-given rights. It is through my fear and love of God that I pray to receive the wisdom from Him to lead us back to peace and prosperity. I implore you to visit my website at www.ErichLukas.com to learn my platform and goals for our nation and to send me you comments and questions." ### U.S. House Candidate Erich Lukas Receives Endorsement from The 100% Pro-Life PAC September 9, 2004 - Thursday FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: September 9, 2004 - Thursday CONTACT: PERKASIE, PENNSYLVANIA - Upon receiving news that he has been endorsed by the 100% Pro-Life PAC (www.prolifepac.com), Erich Lukas, U.S. House of Representatives Candidate for District 8, released the following statement: "I am greatly honored to receive the support of the 100% Pro-Life PAC, whose dedication to defending the lives of innocent, unborn American babies is second-to-none." "The 100% Pro-Life PAC, which was founded in 1984 by Kathy Coll, is composed of the preeminent leaders of the pro-life movement including Colleen Parro, Republican National Coalition for Life; Fr. Thomas Euteneuer, Human Life International; Judie Brown, American Life League; Mark Crutcher, Life Dynamics International; Jim Sedlak, STOPP International; Joseph Sobran, author; Debi Vinnedge, Children of God for Life; and Doug Scott, Life Decisions International." "Every pre-born person is sacred according to God, as clearly stated in Psalm 139:13-16, and must be protected from execution regardless of the sin of his or her father, as clearly stated in Deuteronomy 24:16." "I implore you to learn more about how we can work together to preserve the lives of pre-born children by visiting my website at www.ErichLukas.com." ### U.S. House Candidate Erich Lukas Is The Only Pro-Life Candidate in Pa. 8th U.S. Congressional District Race September 23, 2004 - Thursday FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: September 23, 2004 - Thursday CONTACT: Press Release Online: http://www.erichlukas.com/Platform.html#20040923_PR_Lukas2004 PERKASIE, PENNSYLVANIA - Upon receiving news that Republican opponent Mike Fitzpatrick is pro-abortion, Erich Lukas, U.S. House of Representatives Candidate for District 8, released the following statement: "The citizens of Pennsylvania 8th U.S. Congressional District have been led astray to believe that Republican Mike Fitzpatrick is pro-life, when he is actually pro-abortion according to the September 23, 2004 edition of the Allentown, PA Morning Call newspaper, leaving me, to the best of my knowledge, as the only pro-life candidate in the 8th District race for United States House of Representatives." "The Morning Call reported that pro-abortion Clone and Kill bill author Rep. Jim Greenwood said that '[Greenwood] made it clear that he would not have endorsed Fitzpatrick if the commissioner had not declared an open mind for embryonic stem cell research.'" "The Morning Call continued to report, 'Fitzpatrick said he would support international family planning programs' and that 'Fitzpatrick said he would not oppose a woman's right to obtain an abortion in cases of rape, incest and a danger to the life of the mother.'" "Abortion has always been illegal in the U.S.A., as clearly written in the Preamble of the U.S. Constitution: 'We the People of the United States, in Order to... secure the Blessings of Liberty to ...our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.'" "All children are given a purpose by God (Psalm 139:13-16), and God commands that no one should be murdered for the sins of their father (Deuteronomy 24:16)." "As the only candidate for U.S. House of Representatives in Pennsylvania U.S. District 8 endorsed by the 100% Pro-Life PAC (www.prolifepac.com), I pledge to the citizens of District 8 that I will do everything within my power, by the grace of Jesus Christ, to protect and defend the God-ordained right to life for all pre-born people if the 8th District citizens elect me as their representative to the United States House of Representatives." ### U.S. House

U.S. House Candidate Erich Lukas Remarks on 2004 Election
November 3, 2004 - Wednesday "My thoughts and feelings over the result of the 2004 General Election fill me with both mourning and joy. I mourn over the lives of future murdered pre-born children resulting from newly-elected Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick's promised voting behavior as documented on my www.ERICHLUKAS.com website. I am joyful over the fact that, with the help of God, my original goal to oust 'Clone and Kill' bill author Congressman Jim Greenwood from office was fulfilled. Several months after my intended candidacy announcement, and a couple of months after my official candidacy announcement, Greenwood quit, even though he chose to run in the Primary Election and won. My volunteers and supporters know that, before I accepted the offer to run against Greenwood, my plan was to oust vehemently pro-abortion Pennsylvania State Senator Joe Conti in 2006, which is now still in effect. Knowing that, according to the Bucks County Board of Elections, for my very first political race, I received votes from 46 out of Bucks County's 49 townships/boroughs as well as from both Montgomery and Philadelphia County, I recommend that Joe Conti follow in Jim Greenwood's footsteps and quit now before he faces my 100% Pro-Life campaign in 2006. As for Mike Fitzpatrick, I will pray for him, that my message of Truth from God and the U.S. Constitution will sound forever in his soul, and that he will obey that Law in his new position as our U.S. Congressman. I want to thank my campaign volunteers, voters, and supporters for a great campaign of Truth and Love." ### Let me know if you will join our 2006 Team! |
